We focus on Wales today with Raglan Castle (Plant’s ‘Song Remains the Same’ dream sequence) and Clearwell Castle rehearsal site for ‘In Through the Out Door’. We head west to Snowdonia seeing Corris, site of the slate quarry and Dolgath Falls, where parts of the “No Quarter” video was filmed and then to the famed Bron Yr Awr. The scenery is breath-taking.
We turn east and south to the English Midlands and to the land of Plant and Bonham. Today we discover their Wolverhampton and Kidderminster roots as well as Bonham’s gravesite in Rushock.
Returning to London via Thames Valley and including Page’s Pangbourne riverboat home, his Cookham ‘Sol Studio’ and Windsor home where Jon Bonham died.
