Do you have a group already that you'd like to organize a tour for?  Let us provide you with the solution. All you have to do is choose the dates!

We can plan and operate tours of any length throughout the UK, Europe and Beyond. It can be a basic, general sightseeing tour or you can ask us for a special themed itinerary or around a specific activity such as walking or wildlife seeking. Special Group Tours will put together your program and will discern which ground operator is the perfect fit for your individual group.

Family groups seeking their ancestry; Pipe & Drum Corps, Choirs and/or dance Troupes on a performance tour; diving clubs; small group of friends wanting to track down the sites from a favorite novel or author; book clubs; Discover the Land of the Celts; a couple wanting a special, active honeymoon trekking through Bhutan; a pilgrimage to Glastonbury and mystical Britain; corporate business incentives for their staff; a University history department on an archaeological dig; church groups; a paranormal investigation society on a hunt across Haunted Wales and England; golf clubs; veterans rediscover their time in Normandy...just about any theme you can think of...we are happy to assist you.

Over the course of any year, our tour operators operate hundreds of custom tour itineraries for groups of between just two and two hundred persons. Your custom tour of the United Kingdom and Ireland will be handled by the tour operator best suited to the region you wish to visit and the size of your group - Back-Roads Touring, Country Lane Tours, Archaeotours, Great Days, Cambrian Routes are all possibilities. In Europe, Back-Roads Touring, Custom Tours Europe and Gate 1 Travel are experts in their fields; those preferring the further afield destinations - Africa, Asia, Latin America and the South Pacific - we have the custom luxury, soft adventure programs of Big Five Tours and Expeditions. Prefer a cruise? No problem, we work with several cruise lines too.

Special Group Tours can organize the tour in its entirely from the moment you touch down at your airport to when we deliver you back there at the end of a perfect holiday.  Transport, accommodation, meal arrangements, guides and entrances can all be part of the package. We can even offer our services to you as a Tour Leader if you wish.

We just love a challenge! Just let us know how we can help and we'd be delighted to provide you with a tentative itinerary and estimated costs. The more information you can give at the beginning, the quicker we can get back to you with our ideas.

All of our scheduled tour itineraries on this website can be run as a private departure too.

All custom tour rates are based upon vehicle and guide hire per day. For the UK & Europe, groups in size of 7 - 15 guests will be the same rate as one of our scheduled departures of the same length/distance. Tour rates for Big Five destinations are listed for groups from just 2 guests.

Whilst we specialize in small groups, we can cater for larger groups too - discuss your options with us!

*Type of accommodation (our usual 3 star properties; hostels or maybe 5 star luxury hotels)

*Which Countries/Area(s) you would like to visit.

TWO’S COMPANY: If there are just two, or perhaps three, of you who would like a very special tour with your own driver/guide in a saloon car (or MPV) then this is the service for you.

For example, in 1999 Ed and his wife from New Jersey fulfilled a lifetime's ambition to spend ten days exploring Britain's Roman remains. In the same year, Chris and Patty spent a memorable two weeks in southern France exploring the artistic heritage and shopping!  In 2001 Mort and Miriam, from California, combined exploring the Jewish heritage of the Iberian Peninsula (Spain and Portugal) with playing some golf. In 2003 the Larry Greenstein family had their own Harry Potter tour and the Mandells discovered the best of Wales; Heather Mendoza loved her custom/private London tour of Joe Strummer and Clash sites in 2005. You name the place, we will take you there!
