Back-Roads Touring Co. Ltd operates a mixed fleet of 35 vehicles, with seating capacity ranging from 2-person saloon cars to 16-seat mini-coaches. Each vehicle in the coach fleet is fitted with seat-belts, PA systems and high-backed coach seats with air-conditioning or forced air ventilation.
Country Lane Tours provide modern, comfortable, air conditioned 4, 6 and 16 seat vehicles with experienced driver/guides for individuals and small groups.
Large coaches are available for custom tours where the size of the group requires such. |

Vehicle Types Twelve and thirteen-seat Renault Masters have traditionally formed the backbone of the fleet over our last 18 years. These vehicles are built on raised floors allowing for maximum under-floor luggage storage. These fantastic vehicles will take you anywhere a car can go, but you sit high above the traffic and hedgerow and enjoy unparalleled views through panoramic windows. Vehicles used on the Continent are usually air-conditioned. All other vehicles have forced air ventilation. Sixteen-seat Mercedes Sprinters - these air-conditioned, specially converted, comfortable vehicles have extended rears to allow for greater leg room between seats and a large 'dropwell' trunk to easily accommodate sixteen persons' luggage. Six, seven and eight-seat Multi-Person Vehicles (MPVs) are the favourite choice for groups of up to 5 in number. We operate air-conditioned Renault Espace, Ford Torneo and Mercedes Vitos. Unusually, our vehicles are not covered in garish colouring and sign-writing promoting our 'brand'. This is to comply with our 'green' and environmentally-friendly policy of not imposing on our environment. |
