Country Lane Tours Booking Conditions
Provisional booking by email, telephone, and mail will be held for 4 days pending receipt of deposit payment of £50 per person. Upon receipt of deposit, Country Lane Tours (hereinafter referred as the Tour Operator) will acknowledge and confirm when final payment is due. If the balance is not received by the due date the contract will be deemed to have been cancelled (see cancellation below) if the reservation is made less than 7 weeks before the tour start date, full payment must be made at time of booking.
Cancellation after deposit only is paid:
Failure to pay balance by due date will result in deposit being forfeited.
Cancellation after full payment has been made:
Cancellation can only be accepted in writing. The following charges will apply (as a percentage of tour costs):
- · 49 – 42 days before tour start date 30%.
- · 41 – 28 days before tour start date 50%.
- · 27 – 14 days before tour start date 80%.
- · Less than 13 days before start date 100%.
Alteration by Tour Operator:
The Tour Operator, at its discretion, reserves the right to change, amend, vary or modify any tour, accommodation arrangement, itinerary, or any other aspect of the tour package as it considers necessary or desirable and shall not be liable to its clients or any other person for any claim in respect of damage, inconvenience or loss resulting therefrom. In the event of any changes being made prior to the start date of any tour, the Tour Operator will endeavour to inform its clients, as soon as possible of the alteration and at its discretion, bear all of any additional costs that the changes and alterations may incur.
If the client wishes to withdraw from the contract as a result of any alteration, full and prompt refund of all monies paid to the Travel Operator will be made an no further liabilities will be accepted.
Alteration by Client:
If the client wishes to change any part of the booked tour, the Tour Operator will do their utmost to accommodate. If their offer of alternative choice is not acceptable, or available, normal cancellation terms will apply.
Financial Security:
Country Lane Tours operate a trust account for all payments, deposits and balances in compliance and in accordance with EC package travel directive (No L158/9 June’90).
