Gate 1 Travel Independent Programs: Your package includes international airfare and hotel in a city center location with continental breakfast daily. Optional features such as sightseeing tours and transfers are available to add to your tour package if you wish.

With an independent program, you confirm your travel arrangements in advance and travel on your vacation without an escort, giving you flexibility to travel completely at your leisure.

All-inclusive packages include all meals, drinks and activities. Hotels choices include:

El Nakuti Resort – Standard room or Superior room. Nestled in the unspoiled ecological paradise that is Costa Rica, this tourist class (4-star) resort is a truly magical setting for an all-inclusive blend of the familiar and the exotic. To delight the most discriminating of guests, each of the 97 rooms are magnificently furnished to blend with the stunning tropical surroundings. Some water sports available for a supplemental fee.

Giardini di Papagayo - This first class, all-inclusive resort is located on the Northwest Pacific coast of Costa Rica, in an area commonly referred to as Costa Rica’s Gold Coast. The hotel is located, directly off Playa Panama, on the gentle sloping hillsides on the shores of Culebra Bay, with direct frontage and access to Panama Beach. All Inclusive (all meals, drinks & activities.) The hotel has 58 rooms and 20 suites, in 20 villas. Rooms feature air conditioning, ceiling fans, small refrigerator, cable TV, direct dial telephone, pay safe, hair dryer, and unlimited hot water. Some water sports available for a supplemental fee.

On average, your 7 – 12 day Big Five land package vacation will cost between $3000 and $5000 USD per person based on two people sharing one room and staying in ‘moderate’ en-suite properties, including meals and entrances. The final rate for your individual vacation package will be determined by the number of days you travel, how you travel between overnight stops (flights, train, car, coach, overland truck etc,) the level of your accommodations (4 star, 5 star etc,) the number of participants on your tour and how many special activities such as scuba diving, white water rafting etc are included. International airfare is priced separately and can be added to your package if you wish.
