Terms and Conditions:
How to book
Weekend breaks and Longer Tours can be booked via Special Group Tours via email: kate@specialgrouptours.com or via phone 1 866 725 5250.
Customised tours need to be discussed, booked and must be paid at least two weeks in advance.
For child bookings please contact SGT for availability of places and any requirements that need to be met to suit the child
Credit cards
We accept all major debit cards and Visa and MasterCard credit cards via Pay Pal. Please see How to Book page for further details.
Payments
All payments to Archaeotours tours need to be fully paid at least two weeks in advance of the tour, and four weeks if paying by any other method than the secure gateway.
Payments for the tours will, be taken by a secure gateway and forwarded on to Archaeotours; Archaeotours is not responsible for any problems experienced with or by the gateway.
Any cheques must be presented at least 4 weeks before the actual tour date.
Cancellations
Archaeotours reserve the right to cancel a tour if the minimum number of people booked on to any one tour are not sold, if this is the case the customers booked on these tours will be informed and appropriate reparations will be made.
Cancellation of tours by the customer
Archaeotours reserve the right to charge a percentage of the tour cost from the customer should they choose to cancel a tour, all cancellations should be received as written notification. The charges are as follows:-
¥ For notification more than 30 days before the tour there will be a £50 administration fee
¥ For 30-15 days the customer will charged 50% of the tour costs
¥ For 14-5 days before the tour the customer will be charged 75% of the tour costs
¥ For 4days to the day of departure the customer will be charged 100% of the tour costs
The company reserves the right to refuse any individual whose manner or conduct causes offence or upset to any of the other customer on the tour. In this case the person discharged from the tour will be charged the 100% of the tour costs and Archaeotours will not be liable for that passenger.
Alterations
Archaeotours reserve the right to change or modify any of the tours listed without prior notice.
Archaeotours reserve the right to change the guides advertised for the tours at any time without prior arrangement.
Insurance
Archaeotours as a company have full public liability insurance; although we will not be liable for customerÕs personal belongings, property or private vehicles should they chose to bring them on the tour.
Archaeotours recommends that the customer take a personal holiday insurance to cover personal belongings and property for the duration of the tour.
Smoking
Smoking is not allowed on the buses, and the cafes and hotels allow smoking at their own discretion, however wherever possible stops will be made for customer who wish to smoke.
Images
All images and the Archaeotours logo belong to the site and the Archaeotours Company and therefore cannot be used or reproduced without prior permission
Force Majeure
Archaeotours does not accept ant liability for any loss, inconvenience or damage caused by war, threat of war, riot or civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural disaster, fires, sickness, weather conditions, airport regulations, temporary, technical, mechanical or electrical breakdown of transport or any facilities contained within advertised accommodation, explosion of any nuclear plant or part thereof or radioactivity/contamination arising from such or event beyond control of Archaeotours the company.
