Accommodations
Your accommodations are an integral part of your holiday and we make our choices with your comfort in mind. We make every effort to ensure all of our guests have a pleasant stay throughout their touring experience. Wherever possible on our longer itineraries, we mix up a combination of rural and in town/village locations so you have a nice overview of the areas visited.
Our accommodations cover a wide range of lodging types including inns, farmhouses, manor houses, quaint b&bs, small family run hotels and even the occasional castle. Each is chosen with care, with reference to architecture, comfort, location, cuisine, and friendliness of the host. All lodgings are three or four star category/similar rating.
All rooms have private/en-suite facilities.
It is important to note that our properties are converted, historically interesting properties and not custom built hotels. You may find the rooms a bit smaller than in North America but overall, they more than make up in charm. The historic designs do not allow for lifts/elevators but, in most properties, low floor rooms may be requested. If you have any special requirements, please advise us at time of booking and we will do our best to accommodate for you.
