Who knew the Suburbs could be so cool!

To the west of London lie suburbs and small towns where British Rock was nurtured, growing out of such bands as the Yardbirds (Clapton, Page, Beck), The Rolling Stones and The Who. Later the same places gave birth to Queen, The Sex Pistols and contemporary bands such as Jamiroquai and The Magic Numbers.

This tour covers some outer London neighbourhoods and county of Surrey, London's answer to the Mississippi Delta - the place where our electric British blues was born.

Unsurprisingly, as the TV and film studios are situated out west, the region was the locations for Beatle films. ‘A Hard Day’s Night’, ‘Help’, ‘Magical Mystery Tour’ and the original Ed Sullivan show film clip.

Stones fans, 'get yer yaya's out'! We're visiting the Crawdaddy Club and the fabled Ealing Blues Club. These suburbs also produced the Yardbirds and saw a young Eric Clapton learn his trade at Eel Pie Island. You’ll see where the Stones started, Jagger & Richards’ homes and other related sites.  ‘Who’ fans get the lot! Homes, early gigs sites, schools! There’s excitement for Queen, Led Zep and Sex Pistol fans.

Beatle fanatics can get themselves in a host of immediately recognisable film locations with lunch (food not included in the price) at the pub used in Ringo’s ‘runaway’ sequences in ‘A Hard day’s Night’.

Adding to the day, you’ll be seeing a stately home, taking a historic riverside walk and some interesting English towns not normally on the regular tourist routes.
