Once in a Rock ‘n’ Roll Lifetime ….

In 2005, Kid Abelha’s George Issacs, Barao Vermelho’s Guto Goffi and Rodrigo Santos, joined with ex- Lobao's Nani Dias, to tour England and Ireland as ‘Os Britos’. The results can be seen on their award-winning DVD (which also features Sergio Dias and Zelia Duncan).

They enjoyed the experience so much that they are doing it again in 2006, but bigger and better!  And they want some fans to join them!

Imagine! you could be one of just 40 lucky fans to travel with the band on an exclusive, never-to-be-repeated, rock ‘n’ roll tour of Britain and Ireland. It’s the ultimate on-the-road experience taking in London, Manchester, Liverpool and Dublin. Never before have musicians of this fame and importance invited their fans to travel with them!

Just 40 lucky fans will board a plane for London on October 14^th 2006.  One week later they will returning home with memories and photographs that will be the envy of every true rock fan. You’ll have stories you’ll be telling your grandchildren!

The fortunate forty will have VIP tickets to see ‘Os Britos’ perform in landmark rock venues like Liverpool’s Cavern Club, London’s Hard Rock Café and Dublin’s Eamon Dorans. With star guest appearances at each gig, Os Britos will play two sets, one featuring numbers from their DVD, the other as ‘Kid Barao’! Each day you’ll be touring landmark rock ‘n’ roll sites, places where rock was born! You’ll be experiencing ‘a day in the life’ of the band, getting to know them and meeting a host of UK rock legends along the way!

You may be one of the lucky winners who’ll be enjoying private and exclusive visits to Jimi Hendrix’s London home, to the famed Trident and Abbey Road Studios, to the Casbah Club. You might be staying in Bono’s Dublin hotel, standing on the Apple Office rooftop, shaking hands with a Quarryman, with John Lennon’s sister, Queen’s Brian May or even Jimmy Page. Day  Two October 15^th 2006

London:  Capital of Rock n Roll! You will arrive London and begin your Rock and Roll Adventure!

The day’s highlights:

• London sightseeing orientation tour including Big Ben, St Pauls, Westminster Abbey, Bucking ham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly and more!
• Free time for sightseeing or shopping.
• Welcome dinner at the Rolling Stones ‘Sticky Fingers’ restaurant (where the walls are covered with Stones memorabilia)
• First competition to find Rock trivia kings/queens!...great prizes to be won for several lucky tour participants, the 1st of many ‘on tour’ special opportunities!

Day Three October 16^th Monday

London: ‘They built this city on rock n roll!’

featuring The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Clapton, Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Small faces, Queen,  Sex Pistols, Clash, Blur, Kinks, Elvis Costello and many more

• The London Blues Delta and Beatle Movie sites! A special tour for fans of the Who, Queen, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd and Eric Clapton. You’ll see homes past and present of Mick Jagger, Elton John, the Yardbirds, Phil Lynott, and Freddie Mercury. Famed clubs like the Ealing Blues Club, Crawdaddy and Eel Pie Island; Roger Gilmour’s floating studio; you’ll see all the important Who sites. You’ll also see where the Beatles ‘Hard Days Night’ and ‘Help’ were filmed and have lunch in a pub featured in A Hard Day’s Night! (cost of lunch is not included.)

• Meet the legendary Tony Wilson, founder of Factory Records and the Hacienda nightclub.

Liverpool: featuring The Beatles, the Beatles and the Beatles!

The day’s highlights:

• Magical Mystery Tour of Liverpool Beatle sites
• See John and Paul’s original boyhood homes

• Visiting Bangor, where the Beatles studied Transcendental Meditation with the Marharishi Yogi

Tonight: free time to enjoy a Friday night discovering Guinness and Irish Whiskey in Dublin’s legendary pubs

Dublin: Irish Rock!
