York - The Shambles (quaint old alleyways and lanes) where you can browse in its antique shops, wander around the market or relax in one of the many old coffee shops. Your tour includes admission to the Jorvik Viking Centre, for a unique insight into the life of the Vikings.
A visit to York Minster, famous for its wealth of stained glass is a must. Walk down Kirkgate, a street of Victorian shops and visit the King William pub. If there's time you could visit Fairfax House, the Merchant Adventurers Hall, York Castle Museum or York Art Gallery before catching the train back to London.
This tour starts at 8:00am and finishes at approximately 9:17pm, a total duration of approximately 13 hours.

Welcome
Arrive at Kings Cross station at 7:15am for your 8:00am departure, and meet our representative by the ticket office. They will check you in, give you a welcome pack, and escort you to your reserved seats for your arrival into York at 09.51am.

Open top Bus
The open top bus tour departs from outside the station every 20 minutes and takes you all round the ancient city, including the famous medieval street, the Shambles; museums and galleries such as Castle Museum; and York Minster, a massive gothic cathedral with outstanding stained glass windows.
Jorvik Viking Centre
Discover the Viking streets and people of over 1000 years ago, accurately reconstructed, on the actual site of the ‘Viking Dig', from which there are over 800 artifacts on display.
Return Journey
Mon-Thur: train departs at 7:14pm and arrives back in London at 9:17pm.
